The first event of the competition.  This was kind of a bitter event for me because I've been working so fucking hard on my deadlift and I still couldnt pull 400kg. I've come a long way with the lift and I do believe that on a good day, I have it. But it just wasnt there this time. ☆Todos sabem que a Mesa Flexora é um exercício monoarticular que ativa a região posterior da coxa, mais precisamente os isquiotibiais. Sabe-se também que os gastrocnêmeos(panturrilha), também são ativados de forma secundária. ▪
☆Eu particularmente gosto muito de conjuga-lo com algum exercício multiarticular no momento em que desejo ativar essa região! 🔝

☆Vamos lá...! É muito comum se ver uma elevação da pelve sobre o banco ao executar esse exercício,  vocês sabem qual o motivo disso ocorrer? 🤔

☆A Pelve agirá como estabilizadora para essa flexão do joelho. Os músculos antagonistas aos isquiotibiais são os do quadríceps, dentre eles, o Reto Femoral é o bi-articular e possui a sua origem na espinha Ilíaca anteroinferior, portanto, é o que tem chance de entrar em insuficiência passiva durante a flexão do joelho.

☆O que ocorre é que o Reto Femoral tem que se manter bem alongado para que o joelho faça a flexão unicamente com a força dos isquiotibiais e o que muitas vezes vemos é "O bumbum empinando" ao realizar o movimento!!

☆Como corrigir?????

I had to give you this killer full bod workout from the @toneandsculptapp home guide because honestly as amazing as weight training is... never underestimate body weight workouts! 7 exercises 3 rounds under 30 mins🌟. There are NO excuses

METHOD:

1️⃣ Ski Jumps: 30 Reps (15 each side) 
2️⃣ Jumping Squats: 20 Reps 
3️⃣ Plank Side to Side Dips: 30 Reps (15 each side) 
4️⃣ Crab Walks: 30 Reps (15 each side) 
5️⃣ Russian Twists: 30 Reps (15 each side) 
6️⃣ Squat into Calf Raises: 20 Reps 
7️⃣ Dip Kick Outs: 30 kick outs 
Perform each exercise one after the other with little to no rests. Take a 2-3 minute rest before repeating again 2 more times. Don’t hate me lol

If It Fits Your Macros was started by a couple of bodybuilders who grew tired of “clean eating”. Their diets were boring, unappealing and “too healthy.” Their diet was simple: eat whatever you want. 😋 What’s the catch?  You must stay true to your macronutrient distribution.  Macronutrients are the major nutrients that are found in food and provide us with energy. Proteins + Fats + Carbs = Total Calories .

Keeping that in mind, here is the acceptable macronutrient distribution ranges for adults in maintaining a healthy diet:
Protein: 10-35%
Fat: 20-35%
Carbohydrate: 45-60%

Your macronutrient distribution depends on a variety of factors like your age, weight, sex, and physical activity level. The above is an average guideline only.

💥Pros?  IIFYM is certainly not restrictive and you’ll probably enjoy it more.

💥Cons?  I don’t know about you, but when I’m told I can eat anything I want, that usually means running to the closest takeaway. When this happens we are taking on “empty calories” – filling up on food that contains little to no fibre, vitamins or minerals that we need for our bodies normal function. .

I don’t know about you but I’d rather fill up on nutritious whole foods, rice, oats and vegetables that fuel the body and add in one weekly cheat meal.  What do you guys think?
