Noble Performance family member @_krisharold has competed and won at the NAPF championships, took 1st at couple of USA Powerlifting national championships and has deadlifted 501lbs. While all of this is awesome, she topped all of that a few days ago by accepting her first teaching position. Kristen will be teaching 6th grade starting next fall and as you can tell by that lovely smile she showcases all of the time, shes pretty darn happy.

One week til spring break ☀️🤙🏼

Od jakiegoś czasu dużo osób pyta mnie "jak to się dzieje, że tyle podnoszę". Czy do dźwigania trzeba mieć "talent"? Czy uważam, ze mam "talent"? Geny? W mojej rodzinie nie ma sportowców. Nie uważam tez, jakobym była szczególnie utaletowana do tego sportu. Ba, nie sądzę nawet że jestem jakoś wyjątkowo silną! Ale to, co mogę przyznać przed sobą otwarcie to fakt, że mam talent do zapierdzielania i chęci włożenia całego serca w większość rzeczy, które robię. Owszem, prowadzi to często do różnych skrajności- jestem w trakcie poszukiwania równowagi w życiu. Ale te wszystkie pytania dały mi pewien pomysł na serię wpisów "z życia aktywnego zawodnika". Raz w tygodniu wrzucę wpis o jakiejś sferze w życiu codziennym, która ma wpływ na mój performance treningowy. Może komuś się przyda, może ktoś jest ciekawy jak to wygląda od podszewki, może ktoś coś z tego wyniesie... ;) Na pewno poruszę tematy takie jak pogodzenie wielu dziedzin życia (2 prace, studia dzienne, życie towarzyskie, związek, rodzina) z trenowaniem pod zawody, dodatkowa aktywność i jej rodzaj w zależności od czasu przed startem, jedzenie, regeneracja, nadmiar pracy i różnego rodzaju stresory i jak sobie z nimi radzić, podejście psychiczne do treningów, planowanie. Postaram się opowiedzieć jak najwięcej :) Dawno nic dłuższego nie pisałam, a przyznam szczerze- lubię to robić. Jeszcze nie wiem od którego tematu zacznę, więc będzie niespodzianka- do zobaczenia za tydzień!

Power lifting is a grueling sport. A lot of load/compression on the body. Pain in the front of the shoulder during bench is a common injury even the elite athletes have to deal with.  Weathering the storm with dry needling boom stick with active release and decompressing the tissue. Was supposed to be a dynamic effort today with 10x2 squats n deads but after set 5 i was drained and had to stop. Though let it be noted that i woke up at 3am with a temp of 101.1 lol. Slept til 840 and felt better with no aches and said fuck it im gunna try n workout. Whatever at least i got something done 😝. Oh well, this is like the first time getting sick in like 2 1/2 years (not counting the food poisoning last year)  just gunna rest and make some chankonabe 💪😎. #gym #garagegym #homegym #powerlifting #powerlifter #conjugate #iifym #fit #fitness #fitnurse #nurseswholift #metalhead #metal #igfit #weighttraining #weightloss #fatloss #squats #squat #crossfit #soup

Сегодня покачковски убили спину с подопечным @r___h_a_y_n_e_s . После утренней гребли...думал ноги....но не вывез бы ...А вот спина зашла ...топчик просто по ощущениям. И без тяги впервые.
 Но с тягой в наклоне  которая незаменима по своим кондициям  для построения сильной и крепкой спины...А главное здоровой. Ставь 👍🏻и ➕ если интересно это упражнение и хотели бы детальный разбор. Что, да как)

Had a pretty good day on Monday and hit some narrow grip bench sets that I wasn’t expecting. Here’s some reasons why I’m using it for myself.
.
1️⃣ It is nice on my shoulders as it is a naturally more tucked position. This helps me press more frequently with less issues.
.
2️⃣ It’s great for tricep size and strength as it is more triceps biased in its mechanics (and big triceps are key to a big bench).
.
3️⃣ It has a greater range of motion so requires more bar speed to complete a successful lift (think snatch compared to a clean), which may be worth thinking about if power is on your radar.
.
But yea mainly it causes me less problems, which is increasingly important to me these days 👌🏻

I couldn't stop laughing at this. I love my boy but he's become quite demanding as of late. Last night I was beyond exhausted. I must say I was more than happy to play good guy/bad guy last night and took full advantage of when I got killed by playing dead for extended periods of time. Of course that typically ends with him jumping on my stomach full force but I'll take it for 2 uninterrupted minutes of closing my eyes. (FYI, I'm totally fine with the jumping on my stomach bit, it's become a game to us to see how strong mommy's belly is, so he's not being bad.)

I have been doing quite a bit of reflecting on my lifting lately. It is not easy to compete and coach 50 lifters. My skill set in other sports was more my quickness and the ability to pickup information fast from my opponents and teammates. This makes me very hyperaware of every little movement in my lifts. I got to just lift and adjust. I also need to be smarter and better with my leverages. I dropped the bar WAY down my back on squats and opened my legs more in sumo. This may take some building up, but over time it will be better

Getting my 1's from the #wendler531 modified program by @shelter_squats and you can see from my past posts I was struggling with 350's and my knees caving in.  Today with @rpstrength food plan, strengthing and romwod work with my hips and calf (@smashleysvendbye 's YouTube about stretching)I'm able to  put up 370 for 2s and it felt tight and good.. Thank you to all the this family.  Road to 405, my forms still shit though ahaha
